Acquired in December 2023 by the Land Development Agency (LDA), the Clongriffin Central site is the largest planned State housing project. It will include over 2,000 homes, along with community facilities, services, and shops, all designed to improve quality of life for both new and current residents. Find out how to get involved here.
Clongriffin, on the north edge of Dublin, is primed for a well-planned urban development thanks to its location, infrastructure, and proximity to Baldoyle Bay.
The LDA plans to create a vibrant community with quality homes, green spaces, shops, and community facilities for residents, locals, and visitors
THE VISION
The Vision
The LDA proposes to enhance the Clongriffin Area, a strong north Dublin community neighbourhood, by building on the existing town and improving the area for people to live, work and play.
The Clongriffin Central Vision Document was created by the LDA and Henry J Lyons (HJL), in consultation with Dublin City Council.
The Vision outlines a plan to transform 13.2 hectares of key land in north Dublin. It shows how State investment can help connect nearby homes and businesses, strengthening the local community. Read the Clongriffin Central Vision.
